It's just okay. Expensive for dinner based upon the variety of food. Most Chinese Buffets have both Baked White Fish with Scallions and Salmon. This Buffet is a bit smaller than ones I see in Fayetteville or Seattle. But if your going to charge the bucks, try having better variety and during dinner put a little bit more out. Like the green beans were almost non existent. The staff were pleasant and hard working. If was fairly clean and the plates and silverware also seemed clean. It's not super busy at 6:30 pm, so if this place survives with this amount of clientele, they must do a booming lunch! YMMV...

I would not recommend this unless you are seriously into Asian cuisines or you want to eat at a economical place.I went there expecting something nice but was disappointed when the food I ate was stale and cold. I mostly ended my lunch with soup and spring rolls and to top it ended up getting a upset tummy. If you go there, don't expect to be blown away by the food.

I think this Asian Buffet is better than the one in Draper. The lunch buffet is good for the money. Don't expect authentic gourmet Chinese dishes and you'll be ok. Some dishes like the seafood vegetables including baby octopus is actually pretty good, and i always enjoy their Sweet and Sour soup. I also like the Sesame balls and Cheese Wonton. The sushis however are just meh. I think the food spread is pretty good. If you want just a simple sort-of-Asian cheap value-for-money buffet, then this is a good place.

My husband and I just ate Here. The price would be fine if the food had been edible. Food at room temperature, and very little flavor. Service was non existent. We had to beg for refills of our drink. The only thing that was tasty was the Pepsi and the store bought ice cream bar. Will never go again.

We ate there for lunch last weekend, about $8 each and it's a buffet so you get to eat whatever you want. They have sushi there included in the buffet. The food was a bit salty, but definitely filled the Asian food craving that we wanted. Worth it!

I have to add at least one star, but it does not even deserve this. We walked out after one plate that we did not even eat. The food was dry and appeared to be from earlier in the day. Manager was not helpful when we complained. We will not be going back.

This is a pretty good buffet - I like the fact that they have the sushi included. They often have coupons for this restaurant in the Hometown magazine, but just so you know, they are pretty strict with expiration dates. Overall, I definitely recommend it.

I highly recommend eating at the Asian Buffet in American Fork. While returning from the eventful "meal", I felt completely unsatisfied, strangely nauseous, and left thinking "what the hell did I just eat?" Upon returning to my desk, sweating profusely, the nauseous feeling had turned to a wonderful "Oh crap, I'm going to puke" feeling. Therefore, If you enjoy eating mystery meat and want to get out of work, by all means visit the Asian Buffet in American Fork for lunch. My favorite part of the buffet is the sign that reads "Take food from the bottom, it's more warmer."

I went here yesterday with my fiancee for lunch. The price is good, about $7 a person, and the food was good, they had your typical array of chicken, beef, potstickers, won tons, and sushi, but a couple hours later we both got the most horrendous headaches centered over our left eyes. Both of us, at the same time! Eating here was the only thing we had done differently from our normal routines, so we figured it must have been a crazy amount of MSG that they put in their food. I highly suggest steering clear of this place if you're any kind of sensitive to MSG. Or even if you're not, neither of us has been sensitive to it before. Overall, it was good food, but so NOT worth the headaches that came after. Makes me wonder exactly what they put in their food! Yikes!

We noticed the very hit-and-miss reviews, and decided to try it tonight for dinner. We got mostly misses tonight. The one sushi roll that we liked, with the bbq eel on top, wasn't refilled often enough. We got only 2 pieces each. The place was pretty busy, and really none of the items was refilled appropriately. The same three chicken wing pieces stayed in the tray the whole time we were there. The wontons for the wonton soup were sad, dry little things. They hadn't had any moisture from the steam table. I dropped one onto my plate and heard a *clink*. Definitely bad. The same problem plagued the potstickers. Dry. Sad. Dad really enjoys ice cream at the end of his meal. He wasn't excited about the teeny cups, and had a hard time opening it. We tried several other dishes, and most had an off taste. Even the fried rice tasted weird. What else? No senior discount. No egg foo young at dinner time. Need I go on? The one (and only) highlight of the night was the walnut shrimp. I sure didn't see any walnuts, but it was delicious. With so many restaurant options in the area (and even the option of skipping a meal), we wouldn't return to this restaurant.

As a cheap version of Asian buffet, it's not bad. $7.99 per person Monday thru Saturday. They has some small portion of sushi, Mongolian grill, salad bar, sweets, ice cream bar, fruit bar. So with everything any standard buffet offers, this is the cheapest Asian buffet I've been too. Service is friendly too. So if you don't expect to pay $7.99 for a five star fancy restaurant food quality in this place it won't disappointing you.

Rose loves Asian Fusion food, with lots of rice, noodles, stir-fries and other dishes prepared in a familiar (to her) Asian way. She'd been very adventurous in eating traditional American Road Trip fare, but by the third night of our trip, I knew she was getting a little tired of burgers and fries. So I fired up Yelp, and finally found a restaurant nearby, with decent ratings, that I thought she'd enjoy. A place called, aptly, enough, "Asian Buffet". It seemed very similar to our favorite place back in Roseburg, "The China Buffet". When we got there, we quickly discovered that it was indeed very much like our old favorite place back home. The place had three large buffet counters filled with all sorts of tasty Asian dishes (plenty of rice and noodles, so Rose was happy!), a good-sized selection of sushi, and desserts. The staff appeared to be all Chinese, and provided very friendly and efficient service. The price was right too. Both of us had all we could manage to eat for $26.00. If ever we have occasion to come back this way, we'll remember Asian Buffet. Rose's Cafe: rosescafe1.blogspot.com/…

It's about $11.50 a person (tax included) and I think it's worth the money. I've came here A LOT since they have sushi and seaweed here plus a lot of other stuff that most other Chinese buffets don't offer. The service here is fast, as soon as you're done with your plate they are quick to get them out of the way for you, same with water refills. The sushi is average and can't compare with a sushi bar but it's decent and satisfies your cravings. They have three or four different kind of soups here: miso, sweet and sour, egg drop are the ones that I recall. The food isn't relatively fresh if you drop in after 8 on regular nights. So going at peak times on the weekend, especially around noon on a sunday, would be ideal as you get much fresher food. P.S. Yes there is MSG in the food.. but why of course. Every buffet place is packed with MSG because they offer quantity not high quality food. So for those complaining about the MSG level: thanks Captain Obvious! All in all, 3.5 stars rounded up

Not good. Should've paid more attention to the reviews. Tried a little of several things, the best thing was the green beans. Meat was rubbery, wontons were over cooked and dry. Will not be coming back.

Not bad, but not great. I have eaten here 3 times and sometimes the food seems fresh and other times it tastes like it was made the day before. The service is great, overall if you want a quick meal it is a good place to stop for lunch.

I like this Asian buffet. the food is pretty good and they include some sushi. they need better dry desserts and some of the food I avoid, but they have enough good food to make it a good buffet to me.

Everything is a spectrum of many types of food. There is food that looks appetizing and actually is. There is food that is not appealing and stills out to be good. The food was neither appealing not appetizing. The displays were dirty, the food was exposed to the elements for an extended amount of time. It was hard to eat. Sadly, our funds were wasting amongst the mass array of cold trays and glum faces. No need to make an appearance there again.

Sorry about the other reviewers, but I've eaten there several times and have never had any ill effects. Some folks are just more prone to problems with reactions to food. This is one of my favorite oriental places. I like to go there and get a take-out tray. One can get an awesome meal for a low price. I love their selection of food. There is something for various tastes. I took my two grandsons there and they loved it as well.

Went last night and it was not good. The food was room temperature or cold. Never saw the waiter. But we were with a friend who really liked the sushi and he is hard to please with sushi. The crab was fake and they never refilled drinks. I wont go back.
